Creative jeweler & watchmaker Henri DOUX shared his passions to the younger generations. Indeed, the third generation has now succedeed to take over the family business.
A family business
Richard DOUX, graduated From the Lyon Jewelery School, first created his manufacturing workshop in the 1980s, then, faithful to the family tradition, opened his own points of sale in Avignon, Courchevel and Saint- Tropez.
Diane, meanwhile, dived alongside her father at 19, with a first job at the workbench before opening her first shop more than 30 years ago. With her husband James Petit, she perpetuates the family tradition in their shop in Nîmes.
Today the DOUX family has 7 stores, and DOUX Joaillier has jewelery and watchmaking workshops orchestrated by the know-how of experts. Its watchmakers guarantee the maintenance and repair of watches, while its jewelers perpetuate a traditional and unique conception of the profession which allows customers to follow the progress of their orders from design to completion. Very involved in the family business, Richard DOUX commits his name and his reputation every day. With an expertise based on years of experience and recognized competence, he exercises his profession with passion while perpetuating the tradition, the excellence of creation and the beauty of stones. A fine specialist, he accompanies his clientele in the discovery of diamonds and helps them to understand and appreciate the value and characteristics of this exceptional stone.
